Towards the end of my 3 year arrangement on my inspiron laptop, it was having a motherboard fault recognising the battery. In a few days a dell engineer had come to my house, at a time I specified. Replaced the motherboard with the latest model, improved the ram and effectively replaced most of the computer. After 4 years of ownership, its only now I have chosen to replace this laptop with the latest Macbook pro, and even then I still regularly use the laptop.

The pricing of dell is definately a case of 'you get what you pay for' their systems are brilliant, but their prices duly match this.
